These earrings are made from a base of copper sheet. They are hand cut, domed and drilled. Once clean and dry, I add a layer of powdered glass (vitreous enamel) to the back side and fire it in a kiln. After it cools, the piece is cleaned and coated with another layer of enamel on the front side and fired in a kiln. This process is repeated until an even layer of enamel coats the copper forms. Once complete, the edges are filed and sanded.
