Forever Forest Enameled Necklace
My Forever Forest Enameled Necklace was inspired by the potential development of 60 acres that abut our little 1+ acre piece of heaven on Whidbey Island. The focal reminds me of the water that flows across that land and pools in it's deep ravines. The small leaf is a reminder of all the trees that create such a beautiful landscape behind us, enveloping us in their riches. We are blessed with owls, eagles, great blue heron and a host of other birds and other wildlife that call this forest their home. I hope we can keep it a forever forest...

This necklace hangs on a double strand of sterling silver chain, adorned with tiny spessartite garnets. Manganese gives it the beautiful orange color. Coincidentally, Whidbey Island's water is loaded with Manganese.
The chain is almost 26" long and the pendant hangs 4 3/8" below (including the leaf).
