This adorable little sterling silver bear charm can be worn alone on a chain or cord or paired with one of many of my charms or add it to your existing collection.
Each bear is made one-at-a-time using an impression die to make the front and back halves. It’s a lengthy process to press 18 gauge sheet into the die to get all of the texture. After each half is formed, the border is trimmed within 1mm of the edge and then sanded to get a flat, even surface all the way around. Solder is then sweated to one side and the other side is put in place and heated to make the solder flow, joining the two halves permanently. After the bear is cleaned up, the seam is filed away and sanded to make it disappear. I give each bear a warm patina to give it a vintage vibe.
You can purchase a chain here, or use one you already have. I have soldered a sterling silver loop to the top of the bear that has a 6mm interior diameter. It is large enough to accommodate most chains.

Bear itself is 7/8” tall. With added rings, it is approximately 1.5” tall from the top of the large ring, to the bottom of its feet
Bear is 7/16” wide from elbow to elbow and 3/8” inches deep from the tip of its nose to the back of its head.
