Each one of these enameled copper tear drop shaped charms is very unique. The color is built in layers and features a silkscreen design on the upper-most layer. Each layer is fired in a kiln for permanent and durable color. At the top of the charm is a sterling silver rivet which protects the edges of the hole the hanging loop goes through, plus it adds a nice finishing touch. The hanging loop, or jump ring, is also made from sterling silver and is soldered closed. It is a sufficient diameter (6mm) to fit most chains, but you can also purchase a chain here that is guaranteed to fit through the loop.
